After finishing the congress which was hold in the forth and fifth of October 2009 about education Curriculum for the elementary school grade 1-3, Komak send a formal recruitment with proposals to the Ministry of education and the head of the supervisory comite` of Kurdistan education.

On October 22^nd, 2009, we started an activity in co-operation with the Makhmur Culture House:  a journey for the fifth grade children of the Bazarge school to the mountain area around Makhmur (Hawargey awy binberd), the intention behind this activity is to train children to spend their time in a pristine environment and to understand nature in a more direct way.

 Come Wednesday next week I'll be flying to Kurdistan, more precisely Hewler, a city close to Erbil (or Irbil depending on who you ask). Hewler lies in the part of Kurdistan that is currently a part of Northern Iraq and I can't for the life of me find a decent map of the place,....
